The new era: Supergirl!!!

Superman was created in 1933 by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. Supergirl was created in 1959 by Otto Binder and Al Plastino. We can see the origin of Supergirl as the echo of the validation of the just participation and the rights for women (for example, in 1953 the “Convention on the Political Rights of Women” was adopted). “Supergirl” is the best TV show; and the collection is a real masterpiece.

Melissa Benoist plays Supergirl since 2015. Melissa is a great singer, actress and dancer. Thanks to her talents and natural magnetism, she has given new heights and greater power to Supergirl. Desde Pearl Harbor hasta el USS Enterprise y la Victoria.

El 7 de diciembre de cada año, se recuerda el infame ataque a Pearl Harbor, en que la maldad, en vez de derrotar, tuvo el efecto de despertar al gigante ante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. La victoria que se alcanzó tras las grandes batallas, sigue resonando e inspirando y educando a generaciones.

Del ataque a Pearl Harbor, se fortaleció la causa aliada con la presencia de Estados Unidos y paso a paso, se fue avanzando hasta vencer en la batalla naval en Midway y de ahí, hasta la victoria. Esa historia sigue inspirando y educando, porque cuando más problemas hay, más se busca de heroísmo y ejemplos edificantes.

Son páginas que nos recuerdan que somos llamados a ser forjadores. En una de las crónicas de esas hazañas, se dice:

·         “El USS Enterprise (CV-6) fue un portaaviones de la clase Yorktown de la Armada de los Estados Unidos durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Estuvo en casi todos los escenarios de la contienda y cosechó muchos éxitos que le significaron 20 estrellas de batalla, siendo además el único superviviente de su clase”.

                          

El nombre “Enterprise” tiene gran historia y trasciende en el tiempo en el legado que se contempla en “Star Trek”: “To boldly go where no one has gone before”. Supera la ficción y da nuevas perspectivas a la realidad, al alentar la ruta visionaria y el valor constructivo que se atreve a proponerse llegar a donde no se ha llegado, iluminando y potenciando a generaciones en la jornada.

                                       

Entendamos que hay veces que la paz requiere triunfar en batallas y superar retos; la buena causa es triunfar por propósitos concretos que afirmen una mejor civilización. Recordemos con honor a tantos militares y voluntarios; y seamos justos con los militares, los veteranos y sus familias. Recordemos con la voluntad de vestirnos de heroísmo y afirmar valores permanentes. Recordemos con amor, orgullo y agradecimiento a los héroes de verdad en todo frente; sea el Señor en lo que vivamos. Dios ilumine a todos.
