Superman y la renovación de la fe en la humanidad 

En julio del 2025, es en verdad significativo y emotivo el regreso de Superman al cine con la dirección de James Gunn. Vi la película en Ponce, Puerto Rico.

Recuerdo que mi hermana Wallis L. Berríos me llevó al cine en 1979 a ver la película “Superman: The Movie”. Esa película de Superman encarnado por  Christopher Reeve tiene su magia.

Es incorrecto comparar a las diferentes personas que han encarnado a Superman, ya que cada generación tiene sus propias realidades y las transiciones son parte de la vida y del mundo de los superhéroes.

Con esa conciencia, doy gracias al Eterno por haber podido ver la magia de la película de Superman del 2025. Gracias por los colores, la música, el cameo de Will Reeve, la acción, la dosis de humor, el amor multiforme y poderoso, y el triunfo de la fe en la humanidad. Gracias a los talentos que hicieron realidad esta producción cinematográfica.

Gracias a David Corenswet como Superman y a Rachel Brosnahan como Lois Lane, por confirmar que el mayor logro está en compartir cada progreso, paso de crecimiento y victoria con quien amas.

En la película, Superman tuvo que luchar mucho hasta llegar a su reivindicación; no renunció a sus ideales y su corazón. En la vida real en un mundo imperfecto, hay retos y motivos de perseverancia; el heroismo está en no renunciar a las convicciones bien fundadas, por las causas que son grandes porque van más allá de uno mismo.

Cada cual puede desarrollar super-heroismo en su propia historia y hacer realidad milagros de amor y de plenitud. No esperes por el cambio, sé el cambio. Es cuestión de renovar la fe en la humanidad.

Superman and the Renewed Faith in Humanity

 

In July 2025, the return of Superman to the big screen, directed by James Gunn, is truly significant and moving. I saw the movie in Ponce, Puerto Rico.

I remember my sister, Wallis L. Berríos, taking me to the theater in 1979 to see "Superman: The Movie." That film, featuring Christopher Reeve's Superman, has its own magic.

It's incorrect to compare the different people who have played Superman, as each generation has its own realities, and transitions are part of life and the world of superheroes.

With that awareness, I thank the Eternal One for allowing me to see the magic of the 2025 Superman movie. Thanks for the colors, the music, the Will Reeve cameo, the action, the dose of humor, the multifaceted and powerful love, and the triumph of faith in humanity. Thanks to the talents who made this film a reality.

Thanks to David Corenswet as Superman and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, for confirming that the greatest achievement is sharing every step of progress, growth, and victory with the one you love.

In the film, Superman had to fight hard to achieve his vindication; he didn't give up his ideals and his heart. In real life, in an imperfect world, there are challenges and reasons for perseverance; heroism lies in not giving up on well-founded convictions, for causes that are great because they go beyond oneself.

Everyone can develop super-heroism in their own story and make miracles of love and fulfillment a reality. Don't wait for change, be the change. It's a matter of renewing faith in humanity.
