Dos plantas... Un mensaje / Two plants... One message

Gracias a creativas dinámicas en la Iglesia Adventista Ponce V, he recibido dos plantas. Al momento de escribir y publicar estás palabras, una planta ha muerto y una sigue creciendo. 

Es interesante que en las mismas condiciones, ambas plantas han tenido realidades diferentes. Eso me inspiró a aplicar el concepto a la vida:

* Hay veces que bajo el mismo techo y las mismas enseñanzas de valores, un hijo sigue el buen camino y otro sigue la ruta equivocada. Cada persona es única, aún con las mismas bases formativas. 

* Hay veces que funciona la unión de parejas desarrolladas en el mismo lugar de congregación, y hay veces que no. Hay veces que funciona la unión de personas de diferentes origenes y ahí se manifiesta el reflejo del perfecto amor del Eterno. Doy gracias porque los mayores milagros de amor rompen estereotipos de edad y superan fronteras de formación, ideología, nivel socioeconómico, cultura, idioma y geografía. Voy más allá: Estoy tan seguro de mi fe cristiana Adventista, que si alguien de la Iglesia vive una nueva historia de amor con alguien que no se congrega en la Iglesia, no temo que vaya a abandonar la Casa y no le recito un libreto de oposición, sino que le bendigo por la persona que se unirá a la Iglesia, y agradezco que consagrará la dicha mayor en pareja y dará el testimonio de la evangelización hecha por el amor.

* Se dice que estamos en el mismo barco, pero no es así. Ante la tempestad, cada cual está en su propio medio de supervivencia. Por consiguiente, no funciona lo de despachar toda petición de oración y consejo con los mismos libretos. Procede seguir el ejemplo de Jesús; ante las peticiones de ayuda, Jesús le preguntaba a cada persona que deseaba y la escuchaba, oraba y entonces obra a la respuesta única y particular para cada cual. Voy más allá: La lección del libro de Job no es que Dios da y Dios quita. La Lección del libro de Job es que cuando Job oró por los demás, fue prosperado. Eso aplicado a hoy, confirma que nadie tiene obligación por uno, las personas tienen sus propios dramas, a uno le toca orar por uno mismo y al crecer y evolucionar, se llega al punto de orar por otros. 

Dos plantas y un mensaje: Optar por ser la versión de vida. En eso, es sabio buscar realizar el propósito de trazar la ruta hacia la Eternidad desde los milagros de amor, la salud integral, la vida en abundancia, la prosperidad para bendecir, la felicidad y la plenitud en esta tierra.

Thanks to creative activities at the Ponce V Adventist Church, I received two plants. By the time I wrote and published these words, one plant had died, while the other is still growing.

It is interesting that, under the same conditions, both plants have had different experiences. That inspired me to apply the concept to life:

* Sometimes, under the same roof and with the same teachings on values, one child follows the right path while another takes the wrong one. Each person is unique, even when sharing the same formative background.

* Sometimes, relationships between people from the same congregation work out, and sometimes they don’t. Sometimes, unions between people of different backgrounds succeed, and in doing so, they reflect the Eternal One’s perfect love. I am grateful that the greatest miracles of love shatter age stereotypes and transcend boundaries of upbringing, ideology, socioeconomic status, culture, language, and geography. I go even further: I am so confident in my Adventist Christian faith that if someone from the church begins a new romance with someone who does not attend the church, I do not fear they will abandon the fold; nor do I recite a script of opposition. Instead, I bless them for the person who will join the church, and I give thanks that they will consecrate their shared happiness and bear testimony of the evangelism through love.

* People say we are all in the same boat, but that is not the case. When facing a storm, each person is in their own vessel of survival. Consequently, dismissing every request for prayer and counsel with the same scripted responses does not work. We ought to follow Jesus's example: when faced with requests for help, He would ask each person what they desired, listen to them, pray, and then act in a way that provided a unique, specific answer for that individual. I would go even further: the lesson of the Book of Job is not simply that "God gives and God takes away." The lesson is that Job prospered when he prayed for others. Applied for today, this confirms that no one is obligated to look after us—people have their own dramas to deal with—so it falls to us to pray for ourselves; yet, as we grow and evolve, we reach the point where we pray for others.

Two plants and a message: Choose to be the version of life. In this regard, it is wise to seek to fulfill the purpose of charting the path to Eternity through miracles of love, holistic health, abundant life, prosperity for the sake of blessing, happiness, and fulfillment here on earth.
