Louis Marx and Company introduced in 1965 the cowboy action figure named Johnny West. That was the beginning of the collection named "Best of the West".
When I was a child, before sleeping, I used to place the figure of Johnny West in his box and cover it with a handkerchief as if it were a sheet. The next day, inspired in the coffee made by my mother, I used to play with Johnny preparing his own coffee.
It is an example of how the line of figures "Best of the West" harmonized the value of the good toy with encouraging positive family values. The action figures (with high quality in the accessories) encouraged to create adventures and to seek to know the historical details about the old west. Today the artistic and educative value is great.
The message inspired by Johnny West and the line of action figures, can promote the real and consecrated heroism, the positive power of toys and collections, the respect to diversity, the best way in any vocation, and the constructive perspective.
