In 2003 the film "The
Sleeping Dictionary" was presented, in which shone the young, attractive
and talented Jessica Alba (who excels in film, TV and modeling).
The fictitious story of the
film focuses on the
tradition of the colonizers who learned the language of the
"natives"; The word "natives" is enclosed in quotation
marks because the human being who feels superior collides with reality and
falls, and they were "native" communities duly constituted. The
colonizers learned the language through women with whom they lived and for that
reason they are called "The Sleeping Dictionary".
The interesting thing is that
the story presented in the production and through the character that Jessica
embodies that had a culture greater than that of those who sought to colonize,
leads to convert the colonizer into colonized; since love can change a whole
rhythm of life, realities overcome arrogance, and there are serene lifestyles
that overcome rampant desires and meaningless careers.
I recommend such a good movie
with messages always valid to develop a better value, in which the really
civilized overcome molds and stereotypes and the greater shines more from the
most humble, genuine and supportive.
