El mejor homenaje a Nelson Mandela es fomentar la verdadera Paz que es Equidad.

·         “Peace is not just the absence of conflict; peace is the creation of an environment where all can flourish, regardless of race, colour, creed, religion, gender, class, caste, or any other social markers of difference. Religion, ethnicity, language, social and cultural practices are elements which enrich human civilization, adding to the wealth of our diversity. Why should they be allowed to become a cause of division, and violence? We demean our common humanity by allowing that to happen”. –Nelson Mandela

                    

Un 5 de diciembre, la ONU se ubicó definitivamente en Nueva York (1946); otro 5 de diciembre, Estados Unidos y la URSS logran un acuerdo sobre la utilización pacífica del espacio (1962); y el 5 de diciembre de 2013 quedó marcado por el fallecimiento de Nelson Mandela. Dos de sus pensamientos dicen:

                      

·         “Freedom is indivisible; the chains on any one of my people were the chains on all of them, the chains on all of my people were the chains on me.” –Nelson Mandela

·         “I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.” –Nelson Mandela

                                      

La admiración y respeto a Mandela es mundial. El mejor homenaje que se puede dar a su vida, luchas y pensamientos, es fomentar la más real y abarcadora Equidad.

                                                              

Grandes serán los relatos de amigos y familiares de Nelson. Grandes serán las anécdotas de quienes le conocieron y de quienes tuvieron alguna oportunidad de compartir con él; pero no son menos los testimonios inspirados en él, aún en la distancia. Las oraciones serán mejor en un verdadero compromiso de vida. 

                                                    

Nelson Mandela merece que cada alma, desde su rol y escenario, se proponga ser cada día mejor ser humano y consagre la identificación con la Equidad.

Nelson Mandela merece que su causa por la paz, la libertad y la justicia sea siempre inspiradora y aleccionadora; supere fronteras y edifique a generaciones.

                                                 

Demos gracias a Dios por haber contado con Nelson Mandela y seguir contando con sus mensajes. Porque la Equidad es buena y agrada a Dios, APOYEMOS el forjar una patria de todos en Puerto Rico.

·         “As I walked out the door toward the gate that would lead to my freedom, I knew if I didn't leave my bitterness and hatred behind, I'd still be in prison.” –Nelson Mandela
